Common Vertical Leg Press mistakes
What goes wrong most often when you do the Vertical Leg Press, and how to fix it.
You lower the platform so far that your hips peel off the backrest.
Lower only as far as your hips stay supported. With the load over you, your pelvis shouldn't curl up.
You release the safeties without the platform sitting properly over your feet.
Plant your whole feet in the center of the platform and extend your legs a bit before turning the safeties.
You lock your knees at the top with the load over you.
End each rep with your knees slightly bent, not locked.
