Common Belt Squat mistakes
What goes wrong most often when you do the Belt Squat, and how to fix it.
The belt sits at your waist instead of your hips.
Set the belt low, over your hips and the top of your glutes, so the load hangs between your legs.
You stand behind the anchor point and the load pulls you forward.
Position your hips right over the anchor point so the chain drops vertically.
You pull on the handles to help yourself up.
Use the handles for balance and let your legs do the lifting.
